The Faculty of Medicine of the University of Geneva is seeking to fill a position of Assistant Professor - Tenure Track in Data Sciences/Artificial Intelligence at the Department of Radiology and Medical Informatics.

 

 

Job Description

This full-time position will involve undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in data science and artificial intelligence, as well as supervising Masters' and doctoral theses. The incumbent will undertake research in this area at the highest national and international levels and secure external competitive funding. He/She will also take up administrative and organizational duties within the Department of radiology and medical informatics and the Faculty of Medicine.

The incumbent is also expected to show the capacity to carry out a transversal mission through strong collaboration with partner services.

Required profile

PhD in science, Machine Learning, data science, computational biology, computational linguistics, mathematics, statistics or equivalent is required. Postgraduate experience in data science is required.

Previous teaching and independent research experience.

Publications in leading international journals.

Good knowledge of French would be a significant advantage.

Starting date: March 1, 2021, or according to agreement.
