Olivier Menzel has a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology and an MBA with a specialization in the Healthcare Management. His passion in genetics driven his choice to dedicate his life to human genetic disorders. He spent more than 12 years in the laboratory working on scientific rare disease research projects.

In parallel, he created an international renowned not-for-profit Foundation to support research on rare and orphan diseases and participated at the national and international level in many patient organization initiatives for creating awareness and for advocacy. After several experiences in the private sector (biotech, private healthcare clinics and consulting) he joined in 2018 the Health 2030 Genome Center to consolidate and develop new scientific, clinical, public and private partnerships.
